Nike Privacy Principles

Your data is used for the purpose of analysing your experience, skills and expertise, and matching those with our employment opportunities. We look at both current and future needs and share your data with the relevant Nike departments and hiring manager to determine the feasibility of employment with the company.
How do we protect your information?
Because Nikebiz.com/Jobs/EMEA is a career site, we give you the option of putting your CV and personal information in our database and thereby collect personal information. Every 6 months your data will automatically be set to "inactive", which means your data is not searchable for Nike anymore. Your profile is still valid and becomes active again as soon as you log in and update your details. (except in those cases were your data is shortlisted) We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. We review access rights on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the laws. Although we do everything technologically and humanly possible to protect the data, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for their purposes. However, upon detecting any unauthorised access we will take immediate action.
Disclosure of information
We may disclose information to companies and individuals we employ as partners to perform functions on our exclusive behalf. Examples may include hosting our Web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and providing customer service. These companies and individuals will have access to your personal information as necessary to perform their functions and services for which we have contracted, but they may not share that information with any other third party. Updating/Deleting personal information
If your CV or other personal profile details change or if you no longer desire to be registered, you can update and / or delete your details online. If for any reason, you are unable to delete the information yourself, we will delete it upon your request.
