Replaces Mindy Grossman, who joins IAC/InterActiveCorp

Beaverton, OR (17 April, 2006) – NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE) today announced that Roger Wyett, 49, President and Chief Operating Officer of the company’s Hurley International brand, has been named Vice President of the Nike brand’s approximately $4 billion global apparel business. Wyett replaces Mindy Grossman, who has resigned to become CEO of Retailing at IAC/InterActiveCorp (Nasdaq:IACI). Wyett will report to Nike brand President Charlie Denson.

Wyett brings more than 25 years of experience in the apparel industry, including seven years at Nike. Wyett first joined Nike in 1994 and held a number of key senior apparel roles in soccer and Nike Team Sports before leading Global Product Creation. Prior to joining Nike he worked in the apparel industry in Los Angeles for 14 years, including five years at Puma USA. In 2000, Wyett joined the Walt Disney Company, where he was Senior Vice President for Global Apparel, Accessories and Footwear, and later promoted to Executive Vice President for Global Sales and Marketing for Consumer Products. Wyett returned to NIKE, Inc. in April 2005 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Hurley International LLC, the company’s action sports and youth lifestyle brand based in southern California.

“Roger brings with him a wealth of apparel and branding experience gained both within NIKE, Inc. and with other leading global brands,” said Charlie Denson, President of the Nike Brand. “We appreciate the significant contribution Mindy has made to Nike’s global apparel business. We will miss her, but one of her significant contributions is in the talent she has developed within our global apparel organization. They have a proven track record for delivering growth. Roger is a deeply respected leader who will provide a great vision for the continued growth of our global Nike brand apparel business.”

Nike offers consumers a broad range of sport performance and sport culture apparel, including NikePro performance base layer apparel, Nike Sphere, and women’s fitness dance product such as the Nike Speed Corset and Nike Groove Pant. Nike’s global apparel business grew about 10 percent in fiscal 2005 to approximately $3.9 billion, representing about 32 percent of total Nike brand revenues.
