      <title>Retail Brand Operations Manager - London-based - UK - Nike HQ, United Kingdom</title>

&lt;p&gt;This newly created role forms part of the extended Retail Brand Team, playing a key part in creating a premium and dominant brand at retail. Generating 3D elements &amp; Shop in Shop solutions to ensure we improve our presence and awareness in the UK/Ireland market place. Reporting directly into the Head of Retail Brand, with a doted line into the Retail Brand Operations team in WE.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This individual will need to have the capacity for multi tasking, delivering against set timelines, liaising &amp; coordinating agencies, and seeing through capital projects, as well as managing the broader Space planning budget. Working predominately with the wholesale accounts, this person will need to flex and adapt to various retail spaces. Working with accounts such as Selfridges, Harrods, to Sports Direct and JJB. Whilst having a foundation knowledge of the core focus category objectives at a country level ? Football, Nike Sportswear, Women?s Training, Running and Sports Performance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Roles and responsibilities include:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Technical and professional knowledge:&lt;/b&gt; Multi-project management and planning; retail experience preferred, but not essential.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Budgets -&lt;/b&gt; Manage the Space budget, assessing projects, costings, forecasting and targets are met.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Category ?&lt;/b&gt; Work closely with the category Retail Brand Management team on specific category projects. From SIS systems to capsule apparel areas and footwear walls. Taking the specific brief and then managing the project ensuring the relevant Retail Brand Manger is kept up to date with the progress.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Process - &lt;/b&gt;Manage the process from agreement of the creative approach and design direction, handling the prototyping, costing, production and installation. Communication and a can do attitude is essential in this role.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Brand &amp; Business ?&lt;/b&gt; Be able to work on projects to ensure they suit the relevant environment. To be aware of the brand and business objectives. Achieving the category objectives, whilst ensuring the elements suit the environment they are built for.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Agencies -&lt;/b&gt;work with multiple agencies and vendors on ensuring the most premium materials, most efficient costs are achieved, and that key deadlines are met.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Tendering ? &lt;/b&gt;Review and manage the instore agencies, assessing the current process and introducing a tendering process where required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Action oriented:&lt;/b&gt; Need to be self starter and able to work and make independently sound decisions in a timely manner. Be able to get things done. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Strong organization skills:&lt;/b&gt; Ability to prioritize and organize workload in response to often aggressive timelines.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Flexibility:&lt;/b&gt; Able to be flexible and to quickly understand new information and situations to always changing environment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Communication skills:&lt;/b&gt; strong ability to communicate with people across all different levels, in country and at a Geography level. Ability to communicate and negotiate with outside vendors and project management firms.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Networking:&lt;/b&gt; Establish relationships with geography headquarter, outside vendors, retailers, and maintain these relationships.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A London based role, with travel to vendors and accounts where required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to step into this key role within Retail Brand.  The role would include the following skill sets - commercial awareness, a good grasp on the Nike brand, good organizational &amp; presentation skills are a prerequisite, as are strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and deliver against key deadlines.
