&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate has the potential to make a significant difference to business performance in Russia through influencing policy in trade, customs and intellectual property rights policy.  The role touches all aspects of the business and a worldly understanding of cultural differences between Russia, CIS and multi-national organisations and an ability to communicate this with senior management outside of Russia and the CIS will be essential.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Responsibilities&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt; &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Creating and delivering an outstanding Public Affairs strategy in Russia, Ukraine and the CIS; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Establishing a relationship with key Nike management in Russia, Ukraine and the CIS;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Providing a weekly monitoring service of pertinent issues throughout the region and the prompt communication to relevant senior management throughout EMEA; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Creating one to one opportunities with key stakeholders at sports marketing events; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Acting as a company ambassador in government and public affairs circles;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Work in a team environment and support other members of the team as required.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Qualifications and Experience&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Degree qualified ? ideally legal, business, political science or an economics degree;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Fluent in written/spoken English, Russian language ? other language skills desirable&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Minimum of  5 ? 8 years? public affairs experience within a large multinational organisation and at least 8 yrs overall business/govt experience ;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Experience of scoping, drafting and developing policies; perhaps within the government; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Deep knowledge of the key influencers in the Government, Administration of the President,  the Federation of the Council  and the Duma and how to influence policy within these organisations.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;</description>

Create and present a strategy to global Brand Protection on developments that could influence Brand Protection efforts/IP rights/revenues&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Manage, coach and mentor the WE Brand Protection team. Ensure the alignment of Geography and Territory Brand Protection strategic plans with the Global Brand Protection strategic plan&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;In conjunction with Nike Legal and Territory Brand Protection Managers, manage outside counsel, private investigators and other vendors in the initiation and subsequent conduct of all administrative activities, litigations, proceedings and enforcement activities, including overseeing all ?legal? and ?illegal? parallel trade cases. Provide appropriate and regular training to vendors on products, logistics and compliance policies&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with Customs, Police and other law enforcement authorities, other brands, and key industry associations, and provide them with appropriate and regular training on products and logistics&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with the Brand Protection Director CEE, WE/CEE business units, categories and functions (incl. Government and Public Affairs, and Corporate Communications) and provide them with appropriate and regular compliance training&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Requirements&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;10+ years of experience in any combination of the following: IP enforcement work within a leading law firm or corporate legal department; in the security industry or in Brand Protection with a global brand; as a Customs Service or law enforcement employee; or experience with Nike in General Management, Product Manufacturing, Sales, Product Engine Business Unit, Customer Service, Account Management, Risk Management, Logistics or other relevant areas.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Fluency in written and spoken English essential; other languages desirable&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Travel required: &lt;/b&gt;Frequent travel will be necessary.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
