http://www.nike.com/nikebiz/nikebiz.jhtml?page=32 <b>Main tasks</b> <ul> </ul> <p><b>MISSION</b></p> <p>The Manager will work in the Corporate Strategy & Development (CSD) team based at Nike?s EHQ, responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Nike, Inc.?s long-term growth strategy, including business development, M&A and strategic licensing.  CSD project related work supports senior executives from Nike, Inc. and its portfolio of brands - Nike, Jordan, Nike Golf, Converse, Umbro, Cole Haan and Hurley.</p> <p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p> <ul> <li>Project Management: Work directly with senior leadership to develop and execute Nike, Inc.?s long term growth strategy. Identify and lead strategic projects with multi-disciplinary project teams. Lead problem solving and ensure impact by facilitating implementation of recommendations.</li> <li>Planning Process: Interact with senior management of global categories and functions, with regional and country management, and support them in developing their 3yr strategic plans. Help them determine key drivers for success and metrics to objectively measure performance per initiative. Facilitate alignment with corporate strategic objectives.</li> <li>Strategic Leadership: Provide thought leadership in areas of experience & expertise to leaders within the business.</li> </ul> <p><b>REQUIREMENTS</b></p> <p>Education / Work Experience: Master degree required. MBA degree preferred. 7+ years of business experience in multi-national environment, with 3-5 years successful progression in a top level strategic consulting company.</p> <p>Other: Business analysis/ quantitative skills. Structuring and problem solving skills. Creativity and resourcefulness. Affinity with business, sound judgment. Results orientation; proactive nature. Proven ability to coordinate activities of cross-functional teams. Proven experience in effectively working with senior leadership. Excellent oral/written communication skills in English. Ability to recruit, coach and developing team members.
