The Nike Foundation has a unique focus on adolescent girls in the developing world as an untapped force in the fight against poverty. The goal is to mobilize exponentially more resources from public and private sources directly to adolescent girls in countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Liberia and India through advocacy, awareness and grassroots programs. To support this goal, the Foundation's staff is expanding and we are building an organization that leverages Nike's and others' resources to exponentially increase our collective impact. A bridge for the Nike Foundation between grantees and programs 'on the ground' to ensure program quality and to maximize return on the opportunity for a selection of grants in the Nike Foundation portfolio. The primary purpose of the investment portfolio is to develop models that work uniquely to accelerate the empowerment of adolescent girls in poverty. In that capacity, this role assists to ascertain whether investments ultimately will have the opportunity for broader impact, replication and scale.

As our Senior Portfolio Manager, you'll manage all aspects of a large portfolio of grantee relationships including programmatic advice, resource allocation of direct reports and contracting support, grantee communications, alignment with the measurement & Evaluation team, funds flow checkpoints, grant progress updates and grant administration. You'll work with grantees to develop targeted and impactful program design for each of the grantees in your portfolio. You'll also work to define success for each grant under your management and take ownership of program activities to ensure that deliverables and outcomes of each grant are on track and continue to maximize return on the investment of grant funds. You'll regularly update the Portfolio Director on progress, major insights and learnings, issues and challenges. You'll proactively serve up recommendations and solutions and present formal updates to Nike Foundation team members and partners in our portfolio review sessions and other such forums. You'll also promote, educate and design girl-centered programming for your organizations under your portfolio management. In addition, you'll lead a team of Girl Experts (Portfolio Managers, Consultants and Specialists) to manage a large portfolio of Nike Foundation grants.
