As our Department Manager, you'll provide management support to the USSC Distribution Centers, assuring that all departmental safety, service, quality and financial objectives are met or exceeded. You'll demonstrate leadership in creating a positive, productive workforce. You'll lead a successful and cohesive work group by demonstrating true commitment to continuous process improvement, inspire and motivate staff, and promote positive employee relationships. North America Supply Chain Innovation Director - ,

As our North America Director of Supply Chain Innovation, you'll establish a vision and strategic direction for the Supply Chain product delivery process. You'll also establish a framework, performance goals & priorities for operational planning and management of Supply Chain product delivery. You'll oversee and provide leadership direction on strategic, complex projects which are supporting and improving the overall Supply Chain product delivery strategy. You'll develop fiscal business plans and budget integrating cross-Supply Chain plans and business unit plans to support the overall business plan goals. Furthermore, you'll integrate sourcing and manufacturing processes and systems internally (with regions and countries) and externally (with suppliers and vendors) using a structured methodology to improve and/or develop optimized solutions. You'll also lead a team of professionals who'll drive the Supply Chain changes setting the direction for your team and management goals, including coaching and executing on talent management. You'll identify potential areas of risk and develop actions to mitigate the risks. Converse, Director of Global Delivery Logistics - ,

Provide strategic direction and global management of Global Delivery Logistics and Customs processes for Converse Worldwide. Critical to the success of all wholesale operations and the CTC (Converse Trading Company in Singapore), the Global Delivery Logistic team provides expertise in delivery and customs processes and procedures that ensure compliance, speed and the most cost effective Supply Chain for Converse.

Drive and develop vision, set strategic direction, and lead/influence the company regarding Converse's Global Logistics and Inbound Supply Chain, Export Compliance and Customs Compliance policies.

Provide strategic direction and global management of transportation processes to accomplish core business objectives and new initiatives. Development of processes and procedures as required to support systems driven automation throughout the Supply Chain.

Insure fiscal responsibility and operational excellence through the building and training of high performing teams. Instill a culture that supports cross-functional bench strength and knowledge to insure meeting internal and external customer objectives.

Supply Chain Integration

Provide planning and direction to Corporate Trade Delivery Logistics team in the execution of their responsibility to the regional Business Units to provide logistics direction and support (LSP's, process, procedures) in service of their supply chain needs from origin ports to Converse and/or customer destinations.

Lead the CTC (Converse Trading Company) team in Singapore by providing defined processes, procedures and tools for the logistics management and flow of approximately 80 million pair of footwear.

Drive the Converse Inbound Logistics and Customs Compliance functions from an Inbound Transportation and Delivery Logistics perspective to support an integrated supply chain management process that supports monthly, quarterly and fiscal year objectives.

Ability to develop strategies that are relevant to Converse utilizing established logistics services (i.e. consolidation, cross-dock etc) and innovative solutions, that reduce costs, improve speed and/or provide information access

Deeply understand the dynamics of the entire Supply chain view and possess the ability to translate process into systems applications and implement those across supply chain functions.

Drive and develop a more a more strategic view of our inventory in the pipeline utilizing Logistics methods (consolidation, deconsolidation, flow planning, container load planning, delay in transit, etc.) and other tools that allow supply and demand to be better matched throughout the pipeline resulting in better service and lower costs.

Strategic Projects / Planning

Provide long-term strategic planning for global transportation and customs operations

Lead and support all strategic initiatives as communicated by Converse Executive Management's business plan to manage U.S., Canada and EMEA Logistics' and Supply Chain Operations' monthly, quarterly and fiscal year objectives.

Critical to the development and execution of the CTC (Converse Trading Company in Singapore), define, develop and implement logistics and customs solutions that meet the regulator requirements of multiple government customs agencies while minimizing the duty impact to our products.

Provide strategic guidance on logistics and customs compliance on the transitions of China, the UK and France along with a rollout methodology for future licensee transitions.

Ability to manage Logistics' related strategic projects, drive strategies to execution and align cross functionally to build consensus around all aspects of the strategy to assure operational success.

Develop and monitor action plans that ensure timely execution of deliverables across functions.

Transportation and Delivery Results

Responsible for providing key direction on the Inbound Transportation team for Converse products from factory to final destination within the US and Canada. Domestic and export related transportation management and support is also included in this responsibility.

Set U.S., Canada, China and EMEA Transportation and vendor performance policies. Ensure we negotiate the most competitive rates and service in our transportation contracts. Evaluate our partners and allocate trade-lane volumes accordingly.

Coordinate and oversee, process and procedural development and implementation, including operational reporting, category business unit supporting activities, product group business unit support activities and enhancement to hit delivery goals/targets.

Support the development and execution of Vendor Compliance Programs and related performance measurement metrics of factory partners and third party logistics partners to measure and validate operational and delivery objectives.

Customs Compliance/Trade Results

Set U.S. Region Trade/Customs operations and compliance policies and administration amongst USA Operations and Product Groups according to both government regulations and company policy.

Provide direction in driving operational best practices to minimize the risk of monetary penalties, seizures, and/or delivery delays to Converse customers, as well as meeting DOHS & USCBP guidelines in support of Regulatory and Port Security initiatives (C-TPAT, ACE, ISF, etc.).

Develop organizational strength to ensure that Corporate Business objectives are not at risk in clearing product thru customs

Demand Planning

« Drive the vision and development of the Sales and Operational Planning Process encompassing the strategic and operational business plan and financial goals, sales plan by channel and account, product input by market segment to create a single collaborative rolling demand plan.

« Proactively seek external and internal best practice, create benchmarks and measure accuracy of forecasts both through the seasonal planning process and to final net shipments.

Demand Planning Analyst - ,

As our Demand Planning Analyst, you'll provide information, analysis and recommendations to drive category decisions regarding planning during all phases of seasonal product creation. You'll utilize advanced analysis/forecasting techniques to analyze market and product trends to develop seasonal demand forecasts and long range (2 year sub category) plans. You'll utilize NIKE's planning processes to develop detailed style demand and inventory plans that meet the seasonal and monthly category revenue targets. You'll execute detailed forecasts that meet category demand component targets. You'll also determine style forecasts based on merchandising assortment plans, historical trends with inventory profitability goals. You'll manage planning processes to meet multi-season calendar timelines, ensure data integrity and continually improve forecast accuracy. You'll work closely with Merchandising to reduce supply planning data exceptions. In addition, you'll work with senior analyst to monitor forecast accuracy at various forecast horizons and levels to recommend areas for process improvement.

Demand Planner -Kids/Girls - ,

As our Demand Planner, you'll develop detailed product demand plans for the assigned category that results in high forecast accuracy, thereby contributing to NIKE and customer profitability. Maintenance Technician - Northridge - Weekend Shift - Various Full-time Hours - ,

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical conveyor equipment, including slat sorters, tilt tray sorters, servomotors and amplifiers. You'll test and repair all electrical controls, including programmable logic controllers, laser scanning equipment and all AC/DC electrical circuitry. You'll also perform preventative maintenance on the conveyor system; provide guidance and training on all conveyor, HVAC, fire protection and material handling equipment; and complete special projects, office moves and other duties independently and on-time by planning work schedules and coordinating with managers and other shifts. In addition, you'll fabricate or repair equipment using burning and welding tools and maintain proper inventory of all parts to ensure maximum operating time of the conveyor system.

Maintenance - Parts Coordinator - Northridge - 1st Shift - ,

As our Maintenance - Parts Coordinator, you'll be responsible for ordering, managing stock, inventory and provide electronic circuits, motors, gear reducers, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), tools and other related equipment for conveyor systems and facilities maintenance to the maintenance staff. You'll schedule, coordinate and keep accurate records of preventative maintenance functions. You'll also in charge of ordering and maintaining all parts levels for electrical and mechanical conveyor equipment, AC/DC electrical circuitry as well as HVAC equipment, and general building supplies. You'll collaborate with Area Manager to ensure inventory is maintained within yearly budget. You'll develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedule. In addition, you'll publish weekly maintenance scorecard and monthly reports listing trends, calls, and status of work orders.

Distribution Center Area Manager - Northridge - 1st and 2nd shift - ,

As our Distribution Center Area Manager, you'll lead and influence the input/output of 7-100 employees' production. You'll actively listen to and address employees' concerns and work in harmony with the Flow Support Center in order to make the best business decisions. You'll process multiple demands to maximize the Distribution Center's output. You'll also conduct follow up meetings and be proactive in assessing the quality of work performed by employees. You'll provide employees with proper procedures and resources needed to attain results. You'll manage departmental budget, update the production/status report daily and update the financial claims report monthly. Furthermore, you'll monitor, review and research Kronos, Control Plus and WAMM incentive pay reports daily to assure the accuracy of employees' production records and paychecks. You'll maintain a high level of floor presence in order to direct the flow of work and make the necessary movement of employees. You'll counsel employees on conflicting issues, while interacting with HR for best solutions, along with documenting results.
