Country Chemical Engineering Manager - Taichung, Taiwan - ,

As our Country Chemical Engineering Manager, you'll manage a team of Chemical Engineers and set team/individual goals that are aligned with department and function goals. You'll coach and mentor staff as well as plan and collaborate with HR for the individual development of staff, make hiring decisions, drive performance management, recognition and rewards. You'll develop team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance. You'll lead and inspire the team to develop and innovate and implement progressive chemical processes and standards. You'll implement defined functional standard protocol and direction of chemical engineering work in product creation to elevate product through the use of new technologies and processes. You'll direct assigned chemical engineering related project work to completion, keeping focus on work which will be applicable and impact future commercialization efforts. You'll ensure product creation projects meet deadlines without chemical issues, in collaboration with Development teams, Product Creation Centers and offshore manufacturing teams. You'll be an active member of the functional management team working closely with Regional Chemical Engineering in developing short term and long term agenda for the function. You'll champion new chemical engineering technologies both internally and externally. In addition, you'll work with the local team and the Regional chemical team to cross pollinate in the development of best practices and implementation of new technologies.

Manufacturing Engineer III - ,

As our Manufacturing Engineer III, you'll ensure that Manufacturing has the correct equipment and training necessary to transform raw materials into finished product while utilizing cost effective methods and maintaining specified quality standards in a safe working environment. You'll troubleshoot and improve existing production processes. You'll also coordinate and document process and product development trial runs, as well as evaluate new materials with regard to processability and application. You'll specify, design, build/purchase, and install new production equipment required to meet increased production needs, as well as provide technical support to maintain, repair and/or replace equipment and tooling. This opportunity also involves providing technical support for our Materials Research & Design and Product Development teams.

Production Supervisor - Nike In-house Manufacturing - N2 Shift - ,

As our Production Supervisor in our plastic manufacturing departments, you'll oversee department production in an effort to meet daily requirements and business goals and pursue continuous process improvements. You'll provide staff leadership, coaching, skill development and conduct performance reviews. You'll also ensure quality and production standards; pursue continuous process improvements that encourage an active role from work teams; schedule and monitor employee attendance, and complete appropriate payroll reports. In addition, you'll develop, perform, and set-up training functions in order to build strong work teams and enhance employee skills and knowledge. Please note the hours are Friday through Sunday and every other Monday 5:12 PM to 5:30 AM.

Production Manager - ,

As our Production Manager, you'll provide leadership and direction to efficiently manufacture and deliver quality products that meet the needs of Nike In-House Manufacturing customers worldwide. You'll plan ahead to meet upcoming production demand requirements and ensure on-time product delivery. You'll adjust staffing levels to ensure required production capacities are reached. You'll also establish and maintain manufacturing systems/processes to warrant on-time delivery of quality products at the lowest possible cost. You'll determine machinery, tooling and material needs to meet production forecasts. This opportunity also involves setting production standards and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly production and quality targets. You'll ensure targets are met or countermeasures are taken to improve deficiencies. You'll also provide daily leadership for department supervisors and help them set appropriate work-related goals. In addition, you'll complete and deliver employee reviews; establish developmental opportunities; and work closely with the Training department to identify training needs for supervisors, leads and Production associates.

Pattern Engineer - In-House Manufacturing - ,

As our Pattern Engineer for our In-House Manufacturing team, you'll have the opportunity to be an integral part and help develop innovative new techniques for footwear manufacturing. You'll be looked upon to collaborate with design, manufacturing, and process engineering to help shape footwear designs in a method to minimize labor, maximize quality, and optimize yields. You'll make pattern grading decisions based on alternatives/options generated during these collaborations, contribute to product designs as it relates to manufacturability, and team with the engineers to lead original and complex projects from conception to completion including initial pattern concepts through a fully graded pattern design. You'll assist and lead cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, document, and improve existing production processes by applying a range of innovative pattern design alternatives or options applicable to manufacturing processes, including machinery, components, tooling and facilities. You'll also participate on CAD project teams by prioritizing and completing individual responsibilities to develop, design, and document equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems), as well as complex multi-process, matched tool sets for manufacturing processes. You'll facilitate projects and interface with machine operators, machinists, vendors and any other disciplines as required to meet project deadlines. In addition, you'll configure and translate CAD software and document packages to meet internal and external needs.

Plastic Component Operator I - Thermoforming - All shifts (St. Charles, MO) - ,

As our entry level Plastic Component Operator, you'll die cut parts, inflate parts, perform quality inspections, pack and record quantities of inspected parts, grind scrap and procure raw materials. In addition, you'll help maintain a clean work area, operate auxiliary equipment, pack finished products, grind material, help clean and start machines and perform miscellaneous functions as needed.

Plastic Machine Operator I - Thermoforming - All shifts (St. Charles, MO) - ,

As our Plastic Machine Operator, you'll set up, operate and adjust the blow molding/thermoforming machines and auxiliary equipment. You'll fill out the required documentation for this equipment. You'll also disassemble, clean and reassemble the loading system, tooling, molds and other necessary auxiliary equipment; set equipment temperatures, screw speed, blow mold process parameters, mold temperatures and conveyor belt speeds; and fine-tune process parameters until parts are within specification and cycle times. This opportunity also involves continuously monitoring operating conditions and inspecting finished parts. In addition, you'll operate panametric thickness measuring equipment and analyze results; assist in training new level Machine Operators, assist other Machine Operators with troubleshooting equipment; and handle securing orders, setting up cards and specification sheets, retaining samples and raw materials and packaging material and skids.

A-shift: Monday through Thursday from 5:12am to 5:30 pm (Days)
B-shift: Monday through Thursday from 5:12pm to 5:30am (Nights)
C-shift: Friday through Sunday from 5:12am to 5:30pm (Days)
D-shift: Friday through Sunday from 5:12pm to 5:30am (Nights)

Parts Clerk - In-House Manufacturing - ,

As our Parts Clerk for our In-House Manufacturing facility in St. Charles, MO, you'll be responsible for maintaining the appropriate inventory as well as the correct min-max levels. You'll help maintain the safety vending machines as well as issue parts usage reports. You'll identify, and issue machine parts using our manuals, drawings and computerized inventory system. You'll be responsible for sending parts out for repairs. You'll use your communication skills to assist the maintenance team, engineers and production personnel with issues that may arise as well as ensure technicians are accurately using the goods movement system. You'll work closely with the maintenance supervisor on scheduling Preventive Maintenance (PMs), tracking PM's, and ensure parts and materials are in inventory and coordinate materials needed for PMs, projects, safety projects, and maintain files and reconcile estimated usage with actual usage. In addition, you'll also work closely with the Sr. Administrative Assistant on equipment strategies and Bill of Materials (BOM's).
