As our Footwear Developer I, you&amp;#39;ll provide project and process management within Footwear Product Development at an intermediate level. You&amp;#39;ll be responsible for converting a project brief and a 2D design rendering into a 3D sample that meets the needs of the team and the consumer and that can be successfully and profitably commercialized and produced. You&amp;#39;ll also actively participate in meetings with Product Creation during all phases of the development process and execute the decision making process that leads to on-time product confirmation and sample delivery by consistently reviewing and evaluating project status with the Product Creation team.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll plan and execute development according to critical dates and performance/profitability goals and address challenges and plans accordingly to deliver proven and tested product.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll ensure manufacturability of product concepts and utilize footwear knowledge and tools to effectively and appropriately achieve project objectives. You&amp;#39;ll also effectively select and use the most appropriate communication tools to successfully manage the product creation process from initial concept through to commercialization and production. You&amp;#39;ll manage sampling and prototyping across geographies and plan and organize resources to achieve project goals. You&amp;#39;ll apply fundamental understanding of category best practices to identify product and testing requirements and assure product performance by applying product integrity through physical and field-testing (fit).&amp;nbsp;This opportunity also involves applying fundamental understandings of product and category objectives, quality goals and athlete/consumer requirements and recommending and specifying to Product Creation team the material, component and construction options to meet key features and product performance goals. In addition, you&amp;#39;ll engage appropriately in all phases of the Nike product process to ensure all projects are completed on time and are manufacturable, proven and tested and meet design intent as well as performance, costing and sustainability goals.</description>

As one of our Senior Apparel Product Developers, you'll collaborate with the Design teams, liaison offices and factories to interpret and translate designs into approved product that can be manufactured. You'll act as project leader for assigned styles from conception to delivery. &lt;A ID="OLE_LINK1" NAME="OLE_LINK1"&gt;You'll analyze manufacturing capabilities, anticipate problems, facilitate problem solving and address issues in a timely manner&lt;/A&gt;. You'll consult with category team members to clarify desired concepts. You'll create and revise garment Bill of Materials and Specifications for assigned styles. You'll work with cross-functional product teams to meet style commercialization and material development timelines. You'll inspect and critique prototypes and samples to ensure they accurately reflect construction specifications. You'll communicate rejections and approvals to the field offices and outside contractors on a timely basis. You'll research new technologies and materials in coordination with Design and Merchandising. You'll provide product teams with new ideas and appropriate development options. You'll develop graphic applications including setting up required system documentation and researching key elements such as price and requirements for actual application to garments in production. You'll execute graphic development process including review of GIS and artwork. You'll research, source, develop, commercialize and price assigned materials at suppliers and/or liaison offices.&amp;nbsp;You'll participate in fit sessions and product review with Category Product teams regarding assigned styles. You&amp;#39;ll be responsible for working close to FTWR leadership to identify excessive last development, collaborate with categories to identify last data that can be consolidated or&amp;nbsp;divested from Nike&amp;#39;s active last list, and actively update management on the status of last development and consolidation. As our Commercialization Support,&amp;nbsp;you&amp;#39;ll provide vital systems and administrative support to the Development team in order to facilitate the development and on-time commercialization of product. You&amp;#39;ll assist with the creation and maintenance of style documentation as directed by a more Senior Development team member. You&amp;#39;ll use Nike PPS, Excel and PDM systems to support commercialization and tracking efforts on a daily basis.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll also coordinate and interface with other departments as required.&amp;nbsp;This may include Apparel Testing and Color labs, Apparel Product Integrity and Global Materials. You&amp;#39;ll be responsible for producing standard reports using Nike Apparel systems. You&amp;#39;ll organize and maintain the sample garment inventory. In addition, you&amp;#39;ll reconcile PDM, PPS, and SAP related issues by working with the help desk, the systems project team and other relevant departments or individuals.&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
